We strongly advise that dogs are exercised on a lead on estate roads. We took advice from the MVCC dog warden on this issue. She recommended that because the estate does not have pavements or lighting and also has sharp bends that it is dangerous for dogs to be exercised off the lead and not doing so could cause an accident.    She also had the following message, “ We remind all dog owners that you are responsible for your pets and their actions. Should they harass, intimidate or threaten people to the extent that they are in fear of their safety, then you as the dogs owner are guilty of having a dangerous and out of control dog”.  (Winter 2009 newsletter).

Dog mess should always be picked up from the grass verges by the owner of the dog and not left for the resident to clean up (Summer 2011 Newsletter).
